BUS STOP
light reflecting
people walking
people waiting
people begging
the trees across the street golden
the sky so blue it hurts
the mini mart yellow
with the faint promise of lotteries everywhere
the urban rush of the self indulgent
lone in their SUVs
with cell phones grafted to their ears
and their tail pipes spewing toxic doom
the local government
has decided that free speech is ok
as long as you agree
sounds fascist and just a bit over the top for me
something to ponder
like pigs do their slop
waiting waiting waiting
at the old bus stop
