DALAI LAMA
So much of the current Olympic drama
swills around the Dalai Lama.
Great gobs of sympathy
but no concrete action that anyone can see.
But you can bet the West's blood would boil
if Mount Everest was filled with oil.
So in the wake of the Olympic flame
the forces of tyranny win yet again.
Tea and Sympathy
tut, tuts, and hypocrisy
from tyrants with bloody hands
as they pull long faces
and strike up the bands.
So its boo hoo hoo
a bebop a rama
and bogus tears for the Tibetan people
and the
Dalai Lama.
