GENERAL MEETING

Getting ready for the summer general meeting of the Four Sisters Housing Co-op. I've already set up the room and now must get my ducks in a row for the short Board meeting prior to the big meeting. We have to get next years budget passed and that's about it.
The fiber optic crew should be finished and then I can make sure the lane gates are closed. It's going a little slower than anticipated but they should be finished by 18:00 hrs.
I have prepared the notice for the residential and postal key audit which I start next week. Tomorrow I have to go over to Tim's place and take the Bandit dog for his evening stroll and then back to my place about a five km round trip.
Jim phoned me at 9:30 hrs. this morning he didn't read my e mail about the Costco run and thought it was today and not next Thursday.

GENERAL MEETING continued;
The mini Board meeting went quickly and well and the Call to order was on time. The budget was passed and two new members were elected to the Board.
Each committee made a mini presentation to the Membership and then we had the draw for the door prizes. We had a quorum prior to the call to order which speaks well for the participation rate for our membership. Although attendance is mandatory for the two meetings we usually have to go door knocking to get quorum and this time around it wasn't necessary.
The meeting was over in two hours which shows the skill of our President in conducting a meeting covering a lot of complicated issues in a competent
and expeditious manner. Well done Tim "O"!
