UNEXPECTED GIFTS

Benny Goodman's "Drum Boogie" on the sound track with Gene Krupa at his best. I'm listening on my newest gadget a gift for my seventy second from my old friend Al. I've been having fun programing the Apple iPod nano. Its not as straight forward as you might expect and the program keep taking you to the iTunes store to shop for the sides you already have.

Anyway, its made my portable CD player and DVD player somewhat redundant. More dead technology in my already overflowing, still working but superseded by new technology, drawer. I have enough wire, to wire an auditorium, I can't ever seem to throw any of this "stuff" away, between books and gadgets I'll soon be moved out into the street, ha ha.

Have another appointment with my GP to tell me the results of all the tests that he called for. Its at 11:30 hrs. on my birthday 13/05/08. Hope my bad luck day doesn't come back to bite me on my butt.

The copy for the Newsletter is just short on article and my liaison with Grant "G" to find out where our Newsletter is posted on the internet and how I upload data to it.

La Dolce Vita!

Its raining, again.

Ciao, JWL

p.s. Try sitting still when "Green Onions" by Booker "T" is playing. Well one of the beauties of the nano is you can dance around the room with your private sound track without getting tangled in the wiring. Of course everyone thinks you are insane but in these days of political correctness everyone just looks away with sardonic grins on their faces and shakes of their heads, ha ha. Time to take this act out into the street for a coffee, a write in my journal, before I go to the budget meeting.

Ciao, again, ha ha

Dear Man: Happy Birthday for the 13th! I have finally escaped the cast on my leg so plan on giving you ‘a little something’ when I join you on Wednesday. You have all the qualifications to beat the malady so please consider this just another “bump” in the road. We all love you dearly, and send strength to see you through this current challenge.
