WAITING FOR MY SKYPE

WAITING FOR MY SKYPE

Foursed already, the bed is made and I have adjusted the blinds to let in some light. My kettle is on for a cup of Sue's fine birthday present. This will be my blog entry for today.

I will upload ten more of the UP series to dress it a bit and then settle down to awaiting Ian's Skype call. It's sunny and warm and I have my fan blowing in my face which is good because it keeps my computer cool at the same time. Have to add the boiling water to the coffee and then let it steep for awhile.

I have the sound track set to WWOZ and its the Celtic music hour. I like the majority of Celtic music but their passion for the harp eludes me so will turn that off for the time being. There is something in the resonance of harp music which causes my ears to ring.

My mouth is set for my coffee but I have to wait at least another five minutes before I can tuck in. Am feeling very good today, for some reason the last couple of days have seen me somewhat apprehensive, why, I cannot say. Just a passing of a phase of the moon perhaps. I have resisted going to the news channels so that could be the reason for the good mood. My e mails were full of praise for the photo blogs and I have received about seven hundred hits since I posted them.

That is usually the way things go photographically if I hit the street with a project in mind. Cuban music on the sound track and I can feel my soul dancing. The kind of music that makes you very glad you are alive.

La Dolce Vita!

Ciao, JWL

Square boxes of glass climbing to the heaveans standing stark against the clear blue sky - There are cranes on some roof tops winching additional stories up to block the human eye. John captures the scene with his picture machine and the old church is now dwarfed by the towers serene - Grey cement and bright glass where there once grew trees green - Great photos my friend - thank you for your talent and your pictorial poetry as each picture is worth a thousand words - be well - enjoy the coffee - billy
